Why

In the UK the average family throws away food worth over £650 every year. Much of this is because we have taken advantage of pricing offers but have then, perhaps, bought more than we can use.

At the same time, 27% of UK children are living in poverty – that’s almost one in three. 6.1 million people in poverty are in working households. It only takes some bad luck for income to disappear into car repairs, spiralling bills or increased rent.  It could be you.

Let’s stop wasting and start helping. We can reduce hunger without spending a penny, by giving the extra away.
